Technical visits are a key element of the EICF Conference, offering participants the opportunity to experience first-hand how investment casting is applied across different fields.
In Seville, two complementary visits are proposed. The first explores the artistic origins of investment casting through the Facultad de Bellas Artes and Fundiciones Marcelo, highlighting its role in art and cultural heritage as one of the oldest manufacturing technologies.
The second visit focuses on the future, with a tour of CATEC (Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies), where cutting-edge developments in aerospace, robotics, automation, additive manufacturing and artificial intelligence are closely linked to the evolution of investment casting.
Together, these visits provide a unique perspective, connecting tradition with innovation and illustrating the broad relevance of investment casting across industries.
